4. Mix it up, Follow Joy, Remove Blockages

Going through life day in and day out. Doing the same rituals for holidays, the same routines, living the same life from year to year, only different in a handful of ways, does something, you can lose your zest for life.

Sometimes we learn what we don’t want first. It guides us to revelations about what we need. We have to waste time first in order to appreciate time.

Hiking, sweating and marveling in San Diego, CA before Beckham was born

I now search for things that feel like my soul is on fire. I have come to value zest in ways I never could imagine.

In addition to enjoying zest, sometimes maximizing comes from simply removing what is not serving you and is blocking your joy. If you haven’t read about emotions from overwhelming events getting trapped and stored in the body, I highly recommend The Emotion Code. A short silent prayer to God asking for guidance, while listening to your body, leads to incredible results.

It all comes back to energy. Quantum physics. God. Our incredible bodies. All day long our bodies are reacting to positive and negative stimuli and, if you’re like me, you might not be noticing.

Releasing trapped emotions, it’s just paying attention to how your body is reacting and asking simple questions while listening to the wisdom of your body.

Our bodies are capable of telling us so much, if we listen. I have been blessed with a gift from God of being very in tune to this energy and able to read the way the body speaks, it’s lead to a lot of healing in my family. It’s helped us stay away from foods, and choose the right dosage of supplements, and release emotions.

If you read The Emotion Code you will know much more about the body, and it explains why this happens with emotions trapping being the source of discomfort. Even after reading, it had never crossed my mind that my physical pain could be emotional.

Yes, I read it. Logically understood it, but didn’t apply it to my own life thinking it could be the cause of pain. doh!

Today is a beautiful dark rainy day. We are feeling like we need to refocus today on the simple.

Getting a Tennessee bath.

Do you possibly have trapped emotions you don’t realize you are carrying around still? How are your routines and priorities, how is your zest?
