Hello beautiful geniuses.
We have been on the road a few times recently and it brought my mind back to here, and my heart desired sending a hug to each of your inboxes as we soaked up every moment of scenery, laughter and the clarifying perspective that comes with travel.

Lately, I’ve been deep in the heart of publishing my book—and writing the second one — and let me tell you, it’s one of the most soul-satisfying, joy-filled things I’ve ever done.
Not because every moment is perfectly smooth (it’s not), but because I can feel something true coming through me. It’s like the pages are less about the words and more about remembering how good life really gets to be. And these thoughts pair extremely well with the best iced mocha of my life from a local family owned coffee trailer. (Pictured above in all its glory.)
We’re getting close to the finish line now—closer than ever—and I’m savoring every bit of it. Not just the milestones, but the in between moments: the candlelit mornings, the surprise clarity during a walk about saying something with more clarity, the giggles with my kids mid-sentence, the deep breaths that remind me I’m already living the magic that one day in the past, I used to dream about.

And maybe that’s what I really wanted to share today:
You don’t have to wait for a big breakthrough to feel joy.
You can drink it right now, like tea.
You can smile at the quiet.
You can choose peace before the outcome.
You can find meaning in this very moment and let that be enough.
Writing, kids, traveling have reminded me again and again:
Life isn’t about chasing the thing.
It’s about becoming the version of you that knows it’s already here and appreciating everything you once desired that you are living.

So wherever you are today, may you pause long enough to notice something beautiful—something real.
Because even in the in-between… joy is always waiting to be claimed. You deserve to soak up every moment.
Xo,
Katie
