8. Fluidity of Learning: Intro to Energy, Tuning Learning

By the time I reached college I was increasingly trying to make sense of the world through a black and white lens. I was pre law at the University of CA, Irvine and constantly trying to digest all of the factual information I was receiving by classifying it into useable systems.

This served me pretty well, maybe, I guess, as I graduated and moved into work as a legal Secretary for a few years.

(I ultimately found the work I was doing useless for what my big picture ideals once romanticized. That is not to say anything about the practice of law as a whole, but having found myself in the specific practice I did, and in the environment I did…. it was enough to close that door, firmly. And gladly too, because a whole different life was waiting for me.)

Craving sunshine these days.

Somewhere in the decades that passed I shook off the model of “learning for testing” I had needed to accept and began to learn for pleasure, for learning’s sake. What a concept.

I slowly found the magic in learning again as certain books found their way to me. I discovered new interests. The categories had begun to expand my focus, unlike college, where they narrowed my focus into a particular area. (I can appreciate, however, how this would serve many well.)

What I’ve learned, Michel Legrand summed up well:

“The more I live, the more I learn. The more I learn, the more I realize, the less I know.”

Learning knows no end. Life has “schooled me”, both in the sense that it has been my greatest teacher.

Weeeeee!

I had that catalyst in life that seems like a bad thing until you find the good in it, the lesson, and peel away all that you don’t need.

But this story isn’t about that, only to set the foundation that it was one of my best gifts in life. (Marcus has a very similar story actually, we have been blessed many pivotal life parallel life moments, that have helped us to deeply understand each other. So he truly gets this too.)

It changed EVERYTHING. Every rigid truth I thought I knew about life and health I had to unpack and take a closer look.

This is where I first learned the strength of the body healing itself. I still remember how mind boggling that concept was.

I still only had a grade school understanding of what it truly meant. By the time I got proficient enough, with the help of some players further along in the game guiding me, I had done it.

I had regained good health learning the strength of my mind and body together, and that was just about all I needed to get completely get sucked into furthering my learning. This fluid path would soon teach me, we are never done learning and the body is capable of so much more than I (still) even know.

Fast forward to parenthood, and the biggest catalyst for growth, like many before me, has now been my children.

My desire for them is to skip the bit where they don’t know the power of their bodies, and just show them early on.

In learning, I have developed a massive love of homeopathy. To learn more, pickup the life changing read:

My rigid mind has found an open minded fluid path with appreciation for all knowledge and modalities.

On this path, I recently came across ‘sound healing’. It was completely unknown to me but I’ve learned what it’s capable of and how it’s rooted in our most primal ancient design as humans.

Exploring local parks.

Our universe, through God, or whatever title you resonate with, we can’t help but marvel over as it is the most incredible mind bending, jaw dropping, gorgeous, intwined interconnected powerful universe down to our planet and bodies and capabilities. Flowers blooming, food growing, stars shooting, waves crashing, air to breathe, it’s all connected and it’s all breathtaking.

The most minute details are no coincidence and the power of the Earth’s vibrations being healing to our body, well, of course it is! Our body being able to come back into balance, well yeah, of course it can. Look what was made as a whole, look at everything outside of us and you see the power within.

Beckham loves the sound healing he copies me activating the tuning fork and loves the sound and vibration in his hand.

We live on this incredible spinning planet surrounded by vast plasma, energy and space. Every detail is perfect, and more intentional than we could hope to understand.

I’ve practiced sound healing on those who have crossed my path and what I’ve witnessed first hand is so exciting. I can tell you personally I’ve never felt better emotionally, mentally or physically. I have been doing a lot of deep work and this was the perfect compliment.

What other people are saying:

I feel amazing. I can’t stop smiling, all day, I just feel so good.” -J

I got my first tuning. I had no idea what to expect but having had chronic neck issues, I wanted to try it. I had been unable to fully rotate my neck without pain and had a limited range of motion for years. I always assumed I needed some sort of surgery because it was so severe. I ended up needing a lot of tuning, over 2 hours, and I felt so much better immediately following the session. I am now able to turn my head fully without pain. Excellent results for me!” -C

Thank you again. I can’t even figure out a way to say that deep enough!! This is amazing. I am so grateful you brought this into my life!!!!” -M

Now that you are properly curious, as was I, let’s go a little deeper before I leave you here.

Without getting into the physics of the human body/earth and the quantum physics of the body/earth explaining WHY it works (but if you wanted to geek out more the possibilities are endless but a good place to start is the Biofield tuning book)…

Here’s the quick and dirty version.

Sound and vibration, healing frequencies enables auto-tuning of the body healing itself. The practitioner doesn’t heal you, your body heals itself through the sound of the tuning fork playing Earth’s resonance in your Biofield (the energy field around your body.)

It’s simple yet so much more powerful than I even understand.

Learning is fluid. There’s never a day we can say we know it all, we’ve seen it all, and we’ve mastered it all.

“Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.” -Albert Einstein

In that spirit, cheers to another good journey.

Katie
